Tensile Test Requirements And Procedures For Ties

As shown in the video, we used the CT-4503 testing machine. 

First, the machine set some parameters. Then we sampled HS-300C and bundled it into two semicircle metal blocks.The two semi-circular pieces of metal were slowly separated and then restored.The computer displays strain curves and test data.The test data showed 265.262N. 

1.What is the standard tension?

The sample is HS-300C, the standard tensile strength is 220N. 

2. How to test the samples and how is qualified?  

We sampled HS-300C and bundled it into two semicircle metal blocks for binding test.During the test, the cable tie with qualified tension will be tightened and the metal block will be restored to the original position; the metal block will slide down and the cable tie will eventually break if the tension is not qualified. 

3. Generally, how many tests are done from injection molding to delivery?  

There will be two tests.Tensile force should be tested in the first inspection, and then tested again when shipping.
